D-Link DAP-1555 High Definition MediaBridge

$200.00 Released January, 2009

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Painlessly connects "media center" islands over wireless - connect multiple wired devices such as Blu-ray players, receivers and gaming consoles without running wires or buying expensive individual adaptors. Wireless N for faster and larger range than previous generation standards (requires a compatible router) - better latency for gaming, improved transfer speeds to watching high definition media. Capable of multiple HD streams at once.

The Cons:Not a router itself. Costly. No longer being sold?

The D-Link DAP-1555 High Definition MediaBridge is a dual-band Xtreme N bridge that can handle multiple High-Definition video streams throughout a home. It utilizes MediaBand Technology to operate in a clear wireless band and avoid interference, therefore negating the limitations of lower-end wireless standards like 802.11a/b/g.
