The DHP-501AV requires nothing more than a pre-existing internet connection and electrical outlets, allowing those with wired LANs to expand without needing to run Ethernet cable further throughout their homes. Its Push and Secure feature allows the DHP-501AV to activate 128-bit AES encryption by simply pressing a button on the unit. Meanwhile, the DHP-501AV sports a power saving mode that automatically puts it to sleep when no network connection is detected.
