D-Link DHP-501AV

The D-Link DHP-501AV is a network adapter kit meant to provide wired internet access anywhere in a home by way of your home's electrical wiring. By simply plugging one unit into an electrical outlet and into your router, a second unit plugged into an AV outlet anywhere in the home can provide internet connectivity with speeds up to 500Mbps.

Additionally, the DHP-501AV features a Push and Secure feature for quick and easy network encryption.

The DHP-501AV requires nothing more than a pre-existing internet connection and electrical outlets, allowing those with wired LANs to expand without needing to run Ethernet cable further throughout their homes. Its Push and Secure feature allows the DHP-501AV to activate 128-bit AES encryption by simply pressing a button on the unit. Meanwhile, the DHP-501AV sports a power saving mode that automatically puts it to sleep when no network connection is detected.
