The D-Link DWA-643 is an Xtreme N Notebook ExpressCard designed for use with a notebook PC. Designed for draft 802.11n networks, the DWA-643 delivers up to 14x faster speeds and 6x farther range than 802.11g networks, while still maintaining backwards compatibility.

It should also be noted that the ExpressCard interface provides up to 236% faster performance than a legacy CardBus interface. Like its PC-oriented peers (the DWA-552, DWA-556), the DWA-643 supports Internet phone calls (VoIP) and HD video streamlining when connected to an Xtreme N Gigabit Router (DIR-655 or DIR-660). Plus, the DWA-643 also includes WPA/WPA2 encryption, Yahoo Widgets Desktop Tools, and D-Link Wireless Manager for keeping track of your network.
