D-Link DXN-221

The D-Link DXN-221 is a Coax Network Starter Kit designed to extend an at-home, wired network via the home’s coaxial wires. It’s composed of two pieces—an HD MediaBridge Coax adapter that functions as an Ethernet-to-coaxial bridge (Coax F-type connector and RJ-45 included) and another one that functions as a coaxial-to-Ethernet bridge.

With the system users can quickly transmit high-definition multimedia files from one computer to another without having to purchase a ridiculously long Ethernet cable. One drawback to the DXN-221 is that it’s not compatible with Satellite TV, as it requires a separate coaxial wiring system of its own.
