The HP Wireless TV Connect is a small wireless streaming device that connects to your laptop or computer via HDMI and USB. Using the USB for power and the HDMI for streaming media such as Blu-Ray movies, videos and pictures, the unit will wirelessly transmit to a compatible TV in 1080p HD resolution with no time lag.

Product Shot 2 Announced in September 2010 for release the following month, it comes with a receiving device that connects to your TV, which will allow streaming of 1080p at 60Hz with support for higher than 1600 X 1200 resolution, and, up to 8PCM audio channels including S/PDIF DTS, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, and AC-3 (5.1 channel), all of which are HDCP 1.0 compliant. Although the company is tight lipped at the moment about the insides of the Wireless TV Connect, the FCC database has updated their list showing this streamer and the receiver as two registered devices operating in the 4.9THz to 5.9GHz unlicensed band. Desktop stand and clips for attaching to the back of a laptop screen are included.
