Linksys PLTE200

 The Linksys PLTE200 is a single port powerline adapter capable of up top 85Mbps with its turbo feature. Powerline adapters utilises existing electrical wiring of the building as network cables. It is a simple to set up solution for your home network without the need for additional wiring.

With up to 85Mbps speed, media streaming and VOIP calls should be no problem. Whilst existing wireless networking solutions offers a competitive pricing and even higher speeds (up to 300Mbps with Draft N connection), the building itself often poses as a problem for wireless signals. Powerline adapters offers a simple solution, perhaps as an addition to an existing wireless network. Note that the PLTE200 is not compatible with the newer PPLS300 four port network adapter.
