Linksys USBBT100

The USBBT100 is a Bluetooth USB adapter from Linksys. Intended for desktops and notebooks lacking built-in Bluetooth support, the USBBT100 enables compatibility with a wide range of Bluetooth accessories and devices, including keyboards, mice, and mobile phones.

Although Bluetooth is designed to be automatically secure, additional security features in the USBBT100 include 128-bit encryption and 'frequency-hopping' technology. The device is outdated, however, in other respects, relying on the obsolete standards of USB 1.1 and Bluetooth v1.1.
