Linksys WUSB54GC

The WUSB54GC is a wireless network USB adapter from Linksys. Intended for notebooks without an internal wireless adapter, the device is not compatible with wireless-N, the fastest networking standard, but works on wireless-G and -B networks.

A one-button setup wizard aims to simplify and secure the setup process, protecting the network connection while the user configures encryption settings using Wi-Fi Protected Setup. The WUSB54GC supports 128-bit WEP and WPA encryption. The adapter is available for under $35, about half the cost of comparable wireless-N models.
