The Linksys WVC80N is an entry-level wireless network camera from Linksys, released in late 2009. This camera has been designed to send live video and audio to locally networked computers or through the internet.

This allows users to view video through a web browser or on a compatible smartphone. The camera can also be used for security purposes, with its built-in automated motion detection with email alerts. Users can also set up password protected viewing areas. Integrated wireless-N technology allows the device to connect to any WiFi connection, eliminating the need for additional cables. As for technical details, the WVC80N supports 640 x 480 resolution video encoded in ASF or AVI format. Both automatic and manual brightness adjustment is supported. The Linksys WVC80N is guaranteed under warranty for 1 year.
