Like its predecessor, it features Power over Ethernet for 24 of its ports, allowing the device to directly support and manage VoIP phones and IP-based surveillance cameras. Included also is a Web-based Smart Switch Management system for configuring ports, managing stack performance, setting up port trunks, handling VLANs, and prioritizing traffic. It also adds 801.x security and support for SNMP vc2 and v3.
