The Netgear ProSafe FSM7328PS is a 24-port Fast Ethernet Layer 3 managed switch, released in 2007. As a stackable switch, this product features an additional four Gigabit Ethernet uplink connections. Optional small form-factor pluggable adapters can be used for fiber uplink connectivity capabilities, such as to a greater network backbone.

Compared to the ProSafe FSM7328S, this model features PoE (Power over Ethernet) connectivity for wire-speed performance. Netgear recommends this switch for routing data between VLANs and other forms of network segmentation. Bandwidth intensive applications like VoIP telephony and video conferencing can also be managed with this product. The ProSafe FSM7328PS can be stacked up to eight times via the Gigabit Ethernet ports found on the front of the switch. Security features include port-based authentication and access control lists to regulate user access. The Netgear ProSafe FSM7328PS can be accessed securely through a web interface or through the command line via SSH.
