Netgear ProSafe GS724T

The ProSafe GS724T is a 24-port gigabit switch from Netgear's ProSafe switch series.  The switch is tailored to the needs of small and mid-sized businesses with basic features that provide secure, reliable performance.

  It features 24 10/100/1000 Mbps switching ports for non-blocking 48 Gbps bandwidth and has two dual-personality SFP slots that can be used for fiber connectivity.  The ProSafe GS724T includes smart switch capabilities for managing the network with performance monitoring, VLAN, port trunking, and Class of Service functionality.  It is a step down from the ProSafe GS724AT since it lacks advanced security features like ACL filtering and 802.1x port authentication.  The ProSafe GS724T has a retail price of $325 and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
