Netgear ProSafe GS724TP

The ProSafe GS724TP is a 24-port gigabit switch from Netgear's ProSafe switch series.  Like the GS724T, it features 24 10/100/1000 Mbps switching ports for non-blocking 48 Gbps bandwidth and has two dual-personality SFP slots that can be used for fiber connectivity.

  The switch is an upgrade to the GS724T since it is PoE capable with built-in IEEE 802.3af PoE on all 24 ports.  It also offers advanced security features like ACL filtering and 802.1x port authentication.  The ProSafe GS724TP includes smart switch capabilities for managing the network with performance monitoring, VLAN, port trunking, and Class of Service functionality.  It also offers enhanced Quality of Service with rate-limiting and utilizes a web-based console for easy network management.  The ProSafe GS724TP has a suggested retail price of $690 and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
