Netgear ProSafe GS724TS

The ProSafe GS724TS is a 24-port gigabit switch from Netgear's ProSafe switch series.  The switch is tailored to the needs of small and mid-sized businesses with basic features that provide secure, reliable performance.

  Like the GS724T, it features 24 10/100/1000 Mbps switching ports and has four shared SFP slots that can be used for fiber connectivity.  It is an upgrade to the GS724T since it also includes two dedicated high-speed stacking ports that can be used to stack up to 6 units and 144 ports.  The ProSafe GS724TS includes advanced security features like ACL filtering and 802.1x port authentication.  It also offers advanced Quality of Service with layer 3-based prioritization and rate-limiting functionality.  The ProSafe GS724TS has a retail price of $640 and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
