Netgear ProSafe GS748TS

The ProSafe GS748TS is a 48-port gigabit switch from Netgear's ProSafe switch series.  The switch is tailored to the needs of small and mid-sized businesses with basic features that provide secure, reliable performance.

  It is an upgrade to the GS724TS, featuring 48 10/100/1000 Mbps switching ports and has four shared SFP slots that can be used for fiber connectivity.  The switch also includes two dedicated high-speed stacking ports that can be used to stack up to 6 units and 288 ports.  The ProSafe GS748TS includes advanced security features like ACL filtering and 802.1x port authentication.  It also offers advanced Quality of Service with layer 3-based prioritization and rate-limiting functionality.  The ProSafe GS748TS has a retail price of $640 and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
