Product Shot 1 The Pros:Very small, compact design allows it to be versatile. Extremely high throughput for a G adapter. Above average range--easily penetrates walls and sports a radius of about 100'.

The Cons:Tends to get very hot over time. Connectivity tends to be a bit inconsistent. Often causes system hangs with no known fix.

The Netgear RangeMax WPN111 is an entry-level Wireless-G USB 2.0 adapter that works with Microsoft Windows desktops and laptops. Although it’s not as fast as a Wireless-N adapter, Netgear claims that it does at least provide 10x the speed AND coverage of a conventional Wireless-G device.
