Netgear WG111

The Netgear WG111 is a simple Wireless-G USB 2.0 adapter that works with Microsoft Windows desktops and laptops. It’s one of the weakest adapters available from Netgear, which in return explains why it is so affordable.

It transmits at a relatively slow 54Mbps, allowing users wireless access equivalent to a wired modem. Realistically speaking, the WG111 is not a suitable option for users who need to stream multimedia files, watch HD videos, or play network games. It is, however, optimal for the most basic of tasks, including emailing and web browsing.
