Mode selection is handled through a toggle switch on the unit. Data throughput over the home electrical system can go up to 210Mbps, and units can be up to 650 ft apart. Indicator lights show detection of HD-PLC devices, network activity, and mode selection. A setup button enables 128-bit AES encryption, securing data over the network.
