The TRENDnet SecurView TV-IP422W is a wireless Internet camera designed for transmitting VGA-resolution footage and high-quality audio over a conventional Ethernet or 802.11b/g wireless network. In particular, it builds from the TV-IP410W by adding along audio capabilities in addition to a USB interface for storing directly to a flash drive, an infrared lens for night-time vision up to 5 m, and 3GPP video compression for transmitting to a mobile phone.

Like its predecessor, the SecurView TV-IP422W can be panned side-to-side (up to 330 degrees) and tilted up-and-down (up to 105 degrees). It’s essentially a combination of the TV-IP410W (tilt/pan), the IP121W (night-time vision), and the TV-IP212W (2-way audio).
