Of those four, two can be used as shared Mini-GBIC slots for connecting to a fiber network. Like its peer, the TEG-2248WS allows the user to configure configure speed, flow control, and port-based QoS (limited to Normal/High queues) for each port. Included also support for SNMP v1, 802.1X, STP, 802.1Q VLAN, IGMP snooping, Broadcast Storm Control, and port Trunking. Interface is key though, as the TEG-2248WS utilizes a web-browser management interface that they claim even non-experts can figure out.
