The TRENDnet TEG-S811Fi is an 8-port 10/100Mbps Layer 2 switch with a 5.6Gbps capacity. This device utilizes 1 copper RJ-45 Gigabit port and 1 mini-GBIC slot to provide high speed uplink connections to backbone switches or servers.

This product is designed as a straightforward solution for companies looking to expand their network architecture. Layer 2 management features include SNMP, IGMP and VLAN configuration. Administrators can also manage individual ports by status, or implement link aggregation (“trunking”) for flexible load distribution or fail-safe redundancy purposes.
