TRENDnet TPL-110AP

The TRENDnet TPL-110AP is a wireless Powerline access point designed for 14Mbps data transfers over power lines, and 125Mbps high-speed data transmissions over a wireless connection. It essentially networks several wireless workstations, and then uses 56-bit encryption to allow for secure data transfers.

Featured is 802.11b/g compliancy, as well as support for Access Point and Wireless Distribution System (WDS) bridge/repeater modes. Note that the range is between 30 to 300 meters, depending on whether the wireless connection is based indoors or outdoors. Additional features include ESSID enabling and disabling (depending on preference), and support for AP isolation and MAC address filtering.
