Product Shot 1The TRENDnet TPL-210AP is a wireless Powerline access point designed for 85Mbps data transfers over power lines, and 54Mbps high-speed data transmissions over a wireless connection. It relies on the TPL-110AP (which is connected to a router) to receive a broadband connection over power lines, after which it broadcasts that signal wirelessly to any nearby PCs.

This essentially allows a user to deal with dead-spot zones by expanding their network through electrical lines. Featured also is 64/128-bit WEP and WPA/WPA2 encryption, support for Access Point Mode, and 802.11b/g standards.
